WordFULL Wednesday

Yesterday afternoon was definitely relaxing because this is what my young man did for almost 3 hours on the couch.

I think this is the first time in his "non-baby" life that he has crashed on the couch...he's usually my lil' party animal.

I got a lot done, one crafty piece of goodness that I'll share with you soon, and enjoyed my peaceful afternoon.

This just might CRACK you up!

Now, this WAS an innocent picture of my son at soccer class and not something I would normally show you until some hoochie mama showed me her butt patch.

While I'm not the trendiest gal on the block, I do know one thing. Showing off your butt crack is really not all that HOT!

It would probably take me both hands to count how many "not so cute" tooshies I've seen in the last few weeks. I've seen the young hairy man butt crack, the old lady reaching for the shoes butt crack. There is no discrimination here people, male or female, old and young, stop showing me your crease of nastiness.
The holiday season brings every crazy whigwham out of the woods to spend their honorary plumber's paycheck which means a lot of reaching up high and bending down low to get that last Buns of Steel video on sale. Whitney Houston could get high as a kite with the amount of crack lines I've seen. Enough is enough. Cover it up! PLEASE!

Don't forget to enter my giveaway HERE. It's a great Christmas gift or a keeper for yourself.

Are you still here?

No more BUTTS about it, just go enter! :)

100th Post and Giveaway Time!!!

It's my 100th post! Wohooooo! Honestly, I've started blogs before and quit them after a week or two when I realized that I had no idea what I was doing. And who am I kidding, I still don't know what I'm doing but I'm having fun doing it!

In honor of my 100th post I've got a great giveaway to pass on to my readers. I have recently discovered the fabulous 29 Cherry Blossoms on Etsy. The wonderful and talented Melanie is the mastermind behind the crafty goodness over there. I purchased a custom order Lauren Bag from her last month and she was absolutely a dream to work with. I had a vague idea in my head of the colors that I liked and she emailed me a variety of different pattern options and together we pieced together my bag. I LOVE IT!!! It's a great "on the go bag." I just throw my wallet, lip gloss and phone in there and I'm on my way. It's very well made and it's super cute....what more can you ask for?

A little info on Melanie, she has been sewing tote bags for a little over four years. What started as a hobby by joining on online crafter's swap group that exchanged gifts to "secret pals" turned into an opportunity to sell her bags at the local quilt shop. She loves to sew and as a busy mom she takes advantage of every opportunity, big or small, to do it.
And because Melanie is such an AWESOME lady she has offered to donate one of her bags as a giveaway to one of my lucky readers.

You could keep this super cute bag for yourself and I wouldn't blame you one bit or you could also use it as a gift bag for the holidays. You could put some cute lotions, soaps, etc. in it and it would make a fantastic present.

So, how do you enter the giveaway?

There are many ways to enter and it's easy! Remember, to leave a SEPARATE comment for each entry. The giveaway will run until 8pm Pacific Time, December 9th and the winner will be announced either that night or the next morning and they will have 48 hours to claim their prize or another winner will be picked. Good luck to all!

  1. This is a MUST. Go to 29 Cherry Blossom's Etsy shop and leave me a comment about which item is your fave. (She's been a bit under the weather lately and is hoping to add more items ASAP, so check back often to see what she's added)

  2. Become a Follower.

  3. Follow me on Twitter.

  4. Tweet about the giveaway and show me the link.

  5. Blog about the giveaway and leave me the link.

  6. Lastly, if you purchase something from 29 Cherry Blossoms you'll get 3 extra entries.

GOOD LUCK!!

My Little Smarty Pants!

I have been eagerly awaiting this year's Christmas season like the love stuck teenagers stalk The Twilight series so that I could use the ever so famous, "Santa is watching you" line. This would be the first year that he would understand the whole process and I would be able to use every parent's famous bribe. So a few nights ago we talked about how Santa comes to little boys' houses who have been good listeners and leaves them a present, but if you haven't been a good boy that you would get coal in your stocking. It was an easy sell, he bought it hook, line, and sinker. He totally got the point and I was able to use "THE" line a few times and it worked magically, but the next day that litte goober outsmarted me.

Me- "Remember to be a good boy, Santa is watching you right now."

Little Man- "Mom, I don't want Santa to come."

Me- "Why not?"

Little Man- " Because I already have lots of toys and I don't want anymore. And, I want coal so that I can put it in my train set."

Can you believe that? I've waited months to bask in the month of glory good behavior that Santa could bring to my house and now it's gone! Poof!
Oh well, Christmas just got a little cheaper.

Don't forget to come back tomorrow for my 100th Post and an Etsy Giveaway!!!!
