Easy Valentines Day Craft for Boys

This year I was a little perplexed about what to send family members for Valentine's Day from the little one.  Some of the stuff out in the stores was a little too girly to send from a 3 year old boy so I came up with a fun, easy project to send out to Aunties and Grandmas.

WARNING!!!! IF THE AFOREMENTIONED GRANDMAS AND AUNTIES ARE READING THIS...STEP AWAY FROM YOUR COMPUTER AND NO PEEKING!!!!! :)

It's really pretty easy, you need
  1. a toy dump truck
  2. clear packing tape/doublesided tape
  3. hershey kisses
  4. permanent marker
and Voila!!!!
Now don't forget my husband is a truck driver and my son is enamored with all things wheels and so for our family, it's the perfect gift!

Now add that to a cute box lined with tissue paper and some other yummy goodies and make an easy photo card and there is a present any Grandma would love!

So, what do you and your kids do for Valentine's Day?

Every Race Car Driver's Must Have......

FAST racing gloves! Also known as, your winter gloves with flames on them which are way too big for your hands so there are tons of extra breathing room at the finger tips causing mom to repeatedly put them back on. And of course, you can't forget your aerodynamic Chevy's sombrero....OLE!!!!

And wait till you check out his RIDE!!!

NOH8

I'm about as liberal as they come and during the last presidential election I was insanely irritated by the entire McCain family and their conservative views. The election came and went and a new chapter was written in the history books. Surprisingly, as time passed, a young republican named Megan McCain grew on me with some of her social views regarding gay rights but imagine my surprise when I saw this today.

Seriously, that is Cindy McCain! She contacted the NOH8 campaign and asked to be a  model for their message. To say I was surprised was an understatement! A couple thoughts rolled around in this bouncy house I call a brain. One, I would never ever have thought Cindy McCain would volunteer to do this considering her hubby is not a gay marriage supporter and second, who's that hottie!!! Who would have thought the updo queen over there ------>

could look like the sexpot up there.

So a big wohooo to two public republican women for speaking their minds, I applaud you. And even though John McCain is still not a supporter of equal gay rights a small part of me wants to give him props for marrying  and raising  strong women who speak their minds.

Breaking News.....

Have you heard? I'm going to be a contestant on Survivor.....SUPAH's SURVIVOR that is! The secret lottery drawing started a couple days ago and now that the results have been posted on SUPAH's blog I can spill the beans over here as well.

My lucky character for SUPAH's SURVIVOR is......

JAMES

Through the magic of bloggy land I get to turn into a totally HOT black man. Not bad, eh! So let's hope he stays healthy, wins lots of challeges, and doesn't piss anyone off.
The SUPAH SURVIVOR gift basket is at stake!

Some Chocolate Lovin'

I won't go into the orgasmic response (just kidding, or am I) that these lil' crack cups gave me, but let's just say they are DELISH! Now if I was a  "dieting Debbie" I would say that they are only 60 calories, sugar free and help you crave those monthly daily chocolate needs but I'm gonna keep it real and and tell you to multiply that by 2 or 3 because you can't just eat one serving. Seriously, why do you think they make them in 6 packs ladies?

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

Welcome to an almost Wordless Wednesday and because I'm feeling slightly creative today, you get a haiku with it. I know, I'm so freaking generous!

Santa brought a red scooter,
Should be getting in jammies,
Look where we found him.

Go check out 5 Minutes for Mom and 7 Clown Circus for more Wordless Wednesdays.
