While shopping last week a new product caught my eye and I couldn't resist... Oroweat Sandwich Thins. Apparently some areas have had the product under the brand Arnold but it is relatively new to us west coasters under the brand name Oroweat. Can I just tell you that I absolutely love them! They come in two different flavors, 100% whole wheat and a 100% whole grain. They are thinner than bread, but still softer than a pita bread and can be used in a wide variety of meal ideas. The best part is they are only 100 calories for the whole bun. You heard me right....the WHOLE thing. An average slice of bread ranges anywhere from 90-110 calories for one slice so it almost seems like a no brainer to go for the sandwich thins. They are also low fat and have no high fructose corn syrup and dangit, they just taste good! I used mine as hamburger bun and I even made the hubby eat it and he had no complaints.(Which means it's a keeper in my house.) I've also heard of others using it to make mini-pizzas, sandwiches, cutting it in strips to use in a dip, and as a substitute for toast with jam in the morning. The possibilities are truly endless. I'm pretty excited with this find because all too often healthy food doesn't taste too yummy and this product breaks the mold. Kudos to Oroweat!

Hmmmm...I'll have to keep my eye out for these. Sounds like they would be worth checking out for a breadaholic like me. =)
Heck yeah! These are great. I remember my son tried them and accidently used 2 whole buns as 1 because he didn't realize how thin they were. They're yummy!
I almost bought them...then went to a BBQ and had a burger on one this weekend. Pretty good! i love that there isnt so much bread, and it has whole grains!
